Mr. Kalum Bandara
Mr. Kalum Bandara is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Public Enterprises Monitoring Commission (PEMC), with over 18 years of experience in public financial management, corporate governance, audit, risk management, and advisory services.
He holds an MBA in Finance and a BSc in Business Management, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACA), with additional professional certifications in forensic investigation and business accounting. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Bandara held senior roles within the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade, including Deputy Chief Internal Auditor, and served as a Member of the Revenue Tribunal.
Mr. Bandara brings both public- and private-sector experience, having previously worked with Ernst & Young (Sri Lanka). As CEO, he provides strategic leadership in strengthening governance, performance oversight, and accountability across public enterprises.
